CPCCOHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry
Accredited by SafeWork NSW, this general induction training covers anyone entering the construction industry or those seeking registration as an owner-builder. The course delivers a basic knowledge of requirements under the WHS Act, the common hazards and risks likely to be encountered on construction sites and how these risks should be controlled.
Covers: Employee and supervisor responsibilities, health and safety information in the workplace, identifying safety signs, identifying hazards, reporting unsafe conditions, accidents or incidents, and injury management.
RTO: Hunter Plant Operator Training School (RTO 90352)
PREREQUISITES: You must bring 100 points of ID on the day of the course, including photo ID to be sighted by trainer.
AGE MINIMUM: 14 years of age
OTHER: The SafeWork NSW issued White Card does not expire and is recognised nationally. It is recommended however, that persons not working in the industry do a refresher after 2 years of inactivity.
