This course, delivered by ATAC, combines SITXFSA001 – Use hygienic practices for food safety (Safe Food Handling Level 1) and SITXFSA002 – Participate in safe food handling practices (Safe Food Handling Level 2). Due to new laws, food outlets and other organisations must ensure that they have a nominated staff person(s) as the Food Safety Supervisor. This course provides accredited training to comply with NSW Food Authority’s requirements for Food Safety Supervisors. It provides the student with an extensive understanding of the role of a food safety supervisor. Statement of Attainment will be issued upon successful completion of course assessment, plus NSW Food Authority Food Supervisor Certificate.
It is possible to combine both of the above units of competence in the one course.
