Any person may lodge a written submission, during the exhibition period, to the consent authority (Gwydir Shire Council), concerning the Development Application. If the submission is by way of objection, the grounds of the objection must be specified in the submission. 

Written submissions will be received up until 4.00pm Thursday 24 October 2018 and are to be addressed to:

Any person/s who makes a submission by way of objection and is dissatisfied with the determination of the consent authority to grant development consent, may appeal to the Land and Environment Court. Council may publish the name, address and the submissions of the person/s or organisation/s from whom a submission is received, unless clear instruction is given other than this information is not to be published.

EPA Licence Monitoring Data

1EPA Licence monitoring Data
The Protection of the Environment Legislation Amendment Act 2011 (POELA Act) introduced the new requirement that holders of an environment protection licence make their pollution monitoring data publicly available in a timely manner. The intention of this requirement is to improve the general public’s access to information about the environmental performance of licensed facilities. This is in addition to other information that the EPA includes on its public register.
Council is the licensee of multiple environmental protection licenses relating to water treatment and waste disposal. To find the environmental monitoring data required by each licence, click the corresponding link in the first column in the following table.
